Important Update: CEB-2020 Conference

Ever since the lockdown started, the organizers of the CEB-2020 have been in constant discussions with our venue partners, board members and the local supporting staff to stay abreast of the challenges and complexities in the face of disruption due to COVID-19. CDC guidelines say large in-person gatherings are still a high COVID-19 risk, where it is difficult for individuals to remain spaced at least 6 feet apart and attendees travel from outside the local area.

We are working tirelessly to organize the in-person event, but the increasing number of travel and hotel restrictions and the uncertainty around the world means it will be impractical for many overseas speakers to attend our event in Boston, leading to turn our CEB-2020 into a fully virtual conference.

The virtual event will feature the same high-quality lectures of the in-person meeting and the original program of the conference will be the same as much as possible.

We will be using the Zoom based web application for live virtual presentations (Demo will be provided to the registered speakers from Dec 1, 2020). The final program of the conference with presentation timings will be released before November 20, 2020.

Our sincere thanks to our speakers, participants, sponsors and exhibitors for your understanding, support and flexibility.

Conference Highlights

Panel Discussions

Be a part of stimulating discussions at CEB-2020 by triggering an exchange of viewpoints among experts in experimental biology. There will be on-the-spot interactions which are sometimes difficult to achieve through normal presentations. Our aim at CEB-2020 is to facilitate exchange of diverse viewpoints to bring out more value to our audience through panel discussion.

Emerging Researcher Presentation

To support and encourage young scientists and entrepreneurs, an opportunity will be given to share their work through an oral presentation. This will help them to gain confidence and get feedback directly from experts in different domains of cell biology research and healthcare.

Poster Competition

The best student poster grant will be given through Poster competition at CEB-2020. The competition will encourage the innovative research work by the graduate or undergraduate students and post-doctoral research fellows who will be selected to present their work in the form of posters.
